Experimental and improvised proposals
Doors 19:30 | Start 19:30

Nouveau Monde, new lands, new immersive experiences! Here comes the moment of explorations, singular proposals, multi-speaker devices, improvisations, imaginary sound ballads in deckchairs.

For this second edition, the Immersive Sound Festival team will install between 16 and 30 loudspeakers as a support for the journey. In concert on Thursday and Friday in the Nouveau Monde Hall, then in installation and listening workshop on Saturday and Sunday in the exhibition wing of the Ancienne Gare.

As last year, the Immersive Sound Festival will have a guest of honor in the person of Dimitri Coppe for two concerts. But also and always artists who try, experiment, play with the borders of sounds and propose... There will be some calm, some hovering, a bit less calm, some dancing, some surprises, some pleasure.

Doors 7:30pm, concert 8pm | Free admission

Curious and liberated, multi-instrumentalist, Damien crosses knowledge through the practice of jazz, improvised music and then electronic music.

Like the musicians of his generation, he feeds off his classical training as well as the minimalist and electroacoustic music of the 20th century. We find in Damien Cesbron's productions the multiple influences that marked him, from Bach to Pierre Henry, from repetitive music to Kraftwerk. Damien has participated in numerous recordings in classical and improvised music. He then collaborated on various design productions and sound installations before launching his solo project around keyboards, from piano to synthesizers. Through his performances mixing composition and improvisation, Damien proposes an original electro-acoustic sound universe that questions the codes of the genre.
