Viva Cumbia !!!! La Nueva Orquesta (CH) + Hermanos Perdidos (CH)
La Nueva Orquesta is a Salsa orchestra based in Freiburg whose experienced musicians come from different Latin American countries such as Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, or Brazil. The aim of the project is to showcase the many facets of this music. Basically composed of a bass player, a drummer, two percussionists, a pianist and a singer, the group was completed by three trombonists, which brings to this ensemble a unique and powerful sound. There's nothing like dancing to the sounds of wild rhythms!
The hearts of gipsys, the souls of the Balkan people, sparkling glances, the Hermanos Perdidos of Biel embark on a quest for forgotten adventures. For five years now, these six brothers and sisters have been walking along streets and alleys, paths and alleys, boulevards and sidewalks, armed with guitars, cajon, accordion and hoarse voices. Skillfully, they combine Cumbia, texts in Swiss German, a hint of Punk sudamericano and French Songs on the catchy rhythms of Fùnana; they sing the sounds of the street into the ears of the world.
